Registration Information*

Online Continuing Student Registration for Fall 2008 is listed below.  Students may register on or after the day scheduled for their class level.  Online registration is accessible beginning at 6:00am each day.

*Online Registration will again be available to all continuing students from April 28 - May 7 and May 19 to June 13 for adding and dropping courses.

Registration Approval

All students must meet with their advisors, either in person or via email, prior to registering. Continuing students should schedule an appointment with their advisors during the registration advising period beginning March 31, 2008, when the schedule is published. Students entering or readmitted in Fall 2008 will meet with their advisors during Orientation.

Registering online requires that the advisor release the registration hold that has been placed on the student's record. Therefore, only students who have made arrangements for their advisor to release this hold will be able to register online. Students who wish to register in the M Center must have a "Registration Agreement" form signed by their advisor.

The Fall 2008 Course Schedule will be available online and in PDF format (for printing) beginning March 31, 2008. The online schedule is always the most up-to-date source of schedule information.

Registration for Fall 2008

Continuing and Returning Students
Online registration for continuing students (including students returning from international or domestic study or a leave of absence) will be open beginning Monday, April 14, 2008 at 6:00 am and remain open through Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at midnight. Online registration will not be available between midnight and 6:00 am. See the Fall 2008 Registration Schedule below to determine your start day for registration which is based on your current class level.

Entering and Readmitted Students
Online registration for Fall 2008 entering and readmitted students is from 6:00 am Tuesday, August 26, 2008 through Friday, August 29, 2008 at midnight. Online registration will not be available between midnight and 6:00 am on these days. For instructions on the registration process see the Online Registration Instructions.

All Students
Online registration for students wishing to add or drop Fall 2008 courses will be open from 6:00 am September 2, 2008 to midnight September 10, 2008. Online registration will not be available between midnight and 6:00 am. Advisor approval is required to access online registration during the add/drop period.

Students who do not wish to access online registration may register or add and drop classes in person at the M Center on the same dates, but during regular M Center business hours (9:00 am to 4:00 pm).

Late Registration Penalty

A $250 Late Registration Fee will be charged to all continuing and returning students not registered by midnight Wednesday, April 23, 2008 (or by 4:00 pm at the M Center) and to all Fall 2008 entering or readmitted students not registered by midnight Friday, August 29, 2008 (or 4:00 pm at the M Center).

Students who are not registered by the end of the first two weeks of the term will be considered as having "Withdrawn Without Notice" to the College.

Fall 2008 Registration Schedule

Continuing and Returning Students
Priority for Continuing Student Registration is based on the student's class level as determined, for undergraduates, by the number of credits already earned. In progress credits are not included in the determination of class level.

Registration for continuing and returning students ends at midnight (online) and 4:00 pm (at the M Center) on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. All continuing and returning students MUST register by the end of Continuing Student Registration or incur a penalty.

Summer 2008

Mills offers a limited number of courses and academic opportunities during its summer term.  Students may register for Summer 2008 courses during Continuing Student Registration for Fall 2008 and up to the first day of summer courses, May 19, 2008.  The last day to drop summer courses is June 6th; the last day to withdraw from summer courses is June 13th. Students who miss the drop/withdraw deadline should meet with their advisor to discuss petitioning for a retroactive drop or withdraw in fall when ASC is back in session.
