If you’d like to speak to someone regarding personal concerns, Counseling and Psychological Services offers confidential individual and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention. As a Mills student, you are eligible for up to ten counseling sessions each academic year free of charge. You can also find health and counseling workshops on topics such as stress management, body image, and healthy relationships, or get referrals to off-campus resources for ongoing psychological services.

Mills College partners with the University Health Services, Tang Center at UC Berkeley to offer a wide range of health care services to meet the preventive and emergency medical needs of Mills students. The Health Programs Unit is a part of the Division of Student Life and is conveniently located in the Cowell Building to provide students with direct services, including medical care coordination, health education information, first-aid medical supplies, and health promotion programming. The Health Programs staff is available to answer questions related to self care, medical insurance and other topics.
