Oakland, CA–September 22, 2008. Mills College is among the 75 colleges and universities nationwide to be highlighted in KIWI Magazine's annual green college report.

KIWI Magazine, a national bi-monthly family magazine with a focus towards healthy and organic living, created the list to help parents learn more about colleges with a commitment towards sustainability.

The magazine noted Mills College's recent first place award in recycling organic waste, the residence halls' composting programs, and sustainable materials used in the College's newest apartments.
