Why Give

Carry the message that Mills is unconditionally committed to the education of women for opportunities without limit.

Your gift — no matter what the size — is needed for Mills to become A College for Women in A New Century.

Giving to Mills is a way for alumnae, parents and others who care about Mills to say who we are and where we are going.

A new paradigm for a women's college.

Mills is taking advantage of the synergistic strengths of the liberal arts and advanced professional preparation.

As one grateful student wrote to the alumnae whose gifts allowed her to attend Mills:

Thank you for your generous gift of assisting my education at Mills. After my junior year abroad, studying in Scotland, I returned for an eventful senior year at Mills. I took the most challenging class in my major, Computer Science. It was the most rigorous and rewarding class I've ever taken at Mills: Software Engineering with Professor Ellen Spertus. I also finished my minor in Studio Art - which has been a part of my life since high school. And I was awarded The Eleanor Crum award for ceramics.

Katherine Spaeth '03
BA with a major in Computer Science and minor in Studio Art

With your financial support Mills is evolving into a more dynamic and comprehensive institution of higher education.
