Alumnae Relations

Renel Brooks-MoonA cornerstone of the Mills experience is the active involvement and commitment of our alumnae. With a loyal network of nearly 20,000 alums in the U.S. and throughout the world, Mills students have the opportunity to interact with and be mentored by women who are contributing in meaningful ways across the globe.

Among the members of the Alumnae Association are prominent businesswomen and entrepreneurs, internationally celebrated artists and dancers, U.S. Ambassadors and members of Congress, scientific innovators and leading professionals, informed parents and community volunteers, philanthropists, and advocates.

Congresswoman LeeCongresswoman Barbara Lee, UN Population Fund Director Thoraya Obaid, dancer and choreographer Molissa Fenley, San Francisco Giants Public Address Announcer Renel Brooks-Moon, and sickle cell treatment developer Susan Perrine are just a few of the notable women who have graduated from Mills and continue to be an active part of the Mills community. Campus events, including Convocation, Commencement, and Reunion, draw many graduates back to campus to support current students, celebrate lifelong friendships, and work together to advance women around the globe.
