Chicago Area Branch art lecture and reception featuring Barbara Crane '49 Wednesday, November 18, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, Chicago Cultural Center, Exhibit Hall, 78 E. Washington Street, Chicago Reception follows from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Tavern at the Park, 130 East Randolph Street, Chicago Free, by reservation only The 60-year retrospective at the Chicago Cultural Center, Barbara Crane: Challenging Vision, celebrates the long and brilliant career of this Chicago photographer, who will be present to discuss her work and answer questions. Crane’s many projects on display, in both color and black and white, constitute the largest gathering of her work to date, including some 200 photographs.

This special event, open to all alumnae and co-sponsored by the English Department and the AAMC Educational Outreach Committee, marks the closing day of the Art Museum exhibition, A Room of Their Own: The Bloomsbury Artists in American Collections.
