Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) Grant Announcement for 2009-2010
The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) at Mills is committed to enriching the academic experience of Mills undergraduates by helping to create a student research community. The Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program asks all Mills Undergraduates and Faculty to review the following UROP grant materials and invites interested students to apply for funding. Students applying for a mini-grant must have a faculty supervisor on the project. It is recommended that all students work closely with faculty in the design of their projects and preparation of their UROP applications.
Funding Limits for UROP Mini-Grants
Mini-grants are small grants intended to reimburse undergraduate students for out-of-pocket expenses during the planning and execution of an independent research or creative project, or the presentation of such projects at conferences, exhibitions, or shows.
Students may apply for one award in any fiscal year, and receive a maximum of two awards while at Mills. Students may apply for up to $500.00 in each grant. See the UROP grant application for deadlines.
