Preparing Non-Science Majors for the Sciences

Mills College provides a certificate program in biochemistry and molecular biology for students with a bachelor's degree in a non-science major who are interested in pursuing an advanced science degree. This program is designed for students with a serious commitment to qualify for graduate study in biochemistry and molecular biology, molecular genetics, developmental biology, and other postgraduate science programs. It also provides excellent training for a variety of careers, such as laboratory research, science teaching, science writing, or patent law.
